Invoicing and Payment:
Reed Tech IP Services Account Holders:Account Holders will be invoiced twice monthly for products ordered in the preceding period.
Method of Payment:
- Payment of bi-monthly invoices is due 30 days after invoice date. Payment can be made by check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or deposit account.
Online Credit Card Purchase - Coming Soon:
Online payment can be made with credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) for customers who do not have a Reed Tech IP Services user account.
Cancellation / Refund Policy:
- Patents and Trademarks from automated system:
- Order cannot be cancelled as processing begins immediately after order approval.
- Product is not invoiced or charged until shipped to the customer.
- A refund or product replacement will be made for any documents not received by the customer. If the customer does not receive emailed documents they will be posted to the Reed Tech IP Services website for download.
- Patent and Trademark File Histories (US and Foreign):
- Cancellation charges will be made based on progress of order through the Reed Tech IP Services system.
- Product is not invoiced or charged until shipped to the customer.
- A refund or product replacement will be made if document delivered is
different from what customer ordered and was the fault of Reed Tech IP Services personnel. - Foreign Patents:
- Cancellation charges will be made based on progress of order through the Reed Tech IP Services system.
- Product is not invoiced or charged until shipped to the customer.
- A refund or product replacement will be made for any documents not received by the customer. If the customer does not receive emailed documents they will be posted to the Reed Tech IP Services website for download.
- Prior-Art Search:
- Cancellation charges will be made based on progress of order through the Reed Tech IP Services system.
- Product is not invoiced or charged until shipped to the customer.
- This product involves extensive interaction between the customer and Reed Tech IP Services and is not refundable.
- Manual Translations:
- Order cannot be cancelled after order approval by customer.
- Product is not invoiced or charged until shipped to the customer.
- This product involves a separate signed acknowledgement from the customer and is not refundable.
- Machine Translations:
- Order cannot be cancelled as processing begins immediately after order approval.
- Product is not invoiced or charged until shipped to the customer.
- A refund or product replacement will be made for any documents not received by the customer. If the customer does not receive emailed documents they will be posted to the Reed Tech IP Services website for download.
